We moved to the area specifically for this school.Our child loves it, has made friends, is engaged, is learning, has opportunities for after-school activities, and more. The teachers seem to really care about our child’s progress, and the staff, in general, makes the experience fun for the kids. The school has connections with local colleges, making the transition from high school to college potentially easier.

From 2007 to present, Debbi Scarborough has been the Headmaster and served on the Board of Directors for this non-profit, special needs school that focuses on children with ASD, ADD, and ADHD. Debbi and her husband Matthew founded Cumberland Academy of Georgia after a frustrating battle of searching for the right school for their son Steven who has Asperger’s.
