The Bowling Team at Cumberland Academy of Georgia welcomes students of all abilities, creating a supportive environment where everyone can participate and thrive. We participate in a league and compete against other special needs schools. The team focuses on skill development, teamwork, and building self-confidence, making bowling accessible and enjoyable for every student. Guided by experienced coaches, members of the team learn techniques, improve their game, and celebrate each other’s progress. Regular practices and friendly competitions offer a sense of accomplishment and camaraderie, while emphasizing sportsmanship and inclusion. The Inclusive Bowling Team embodies the spirit of community at Cumberland, where every student has the opportunity to shine.
The teachers are effective, empathetic and set high standards for their students.A big plus at the school is the large counseling staff available to help students and their families. At Cumberland they educate the whole child. We love the school and are impressed with how the administration, teachers and staff members continually work to improve the school. We moved from Birmingham, Alabama, so our daughter could attend. We also lived in Washington, DC for many years, and Cumberland Academy of Georgia is the best school for special needs that our daughter has attended.
