CHOOSING THE RIGHT SCHOOL FOR YOUR CHILD IS IMPORTANT

Finding the best school for your child is all about the “right fit,” especially when your child has special needs. You will find that each school is unique so finding that school may take some time. Your child’s success and well-being are #1. We hope that your child feels at home with the school, and you, as parents, believe you have chosen the best possible school for your child.

During the appointment, you will spend time with our Admissions Director discussing the needs of your child and learning all about what we do at Cumberland. You will also tour the school, walk into classrooms and see first-hand how our teachers and students interact. If a parent believes Cumberland might be the right fit for their child, the next step is to collect background documents and schedule a shadow day by calling 404-835-9000 or emailing admissions@cumberlandacademy.org.

Upper school Parent

The teachers are effective, empathetic and set high standards for their students.A big plus at the school is the large counseling staff available to help students and their families. At Cumberland they educate the whole child. We love the school and are impressed with how the administration, teachers and staff members continually work to improve the school. We moved from Birmingham, Alabama, so our daughter could attend. We also lived in Washington, DC for many years, and Cumberland Academy of Georgia is the best school for special needs that our daughter has attended.
