Cumberland Academy of Georgia Celebrates 2025-2026 AAC All-Conference Selections

ATLANTA, GA — The Cumberland Academy of Georgia Athletics Department is proud to announce that our student-athletes have earned All-Conference honors for the 2025-2026 academic year. These selections, awarded by the AAC, recognize the exceptional skill, grit, and sportsmanship displayed by our Cyclones across a wide range of competitive programs.

This year’s roster highlights the remarkable versatility within our program, featuring several standouts who excelled in multiple arenas, as well as elite recognition for our top performers on the court.

“The 2025-2026 season has been a whirlwind of success for the Cyclones,” said Rodney Carlock, Athletic Director. “From the precision of the bowling lanes to the intensity of the football field, these athletes embody the spirit of Cumberland Academy. We are incredibly proud of their dedication.”

2025-2026 All-Conference Honorees

  • Basketball: Raj, Maxwell (Also named Basketball All-Stars)
  • Bowling: Raj, Nathan
  • Esports: Hudson
  • Football: Kai
  • Golf: Brody
  • Swimming: Aaron
  • Track and Field: Zola, Kai, Tahl
  • Volleyball: Louise

Cyclone Standouts

  • Basketball All-Stars: A major round of applause for Raj and Maxwell, who were selected as Basketball All-Stars in addition to their All-Conference honors, cementing their status as two of the top players in the league.
  • Multi-Sport Success: Raj continues to be a force across the department, earning All-Conference nods in both Basketball and Bowling.
  • Dual-Sport Dominance: Kai showcased incredible range this year, securing his place on the All-Conference teams for both Football and Track and Field.
  • Program Excellence: From Brody’s performance on the golf course to Hudson’s strategic prowess in Esports, and Aaron’s speed in the pool, the Cyclones are making their mark in every arena.

Located in Atlanta, Cumberland Academy of Georgia specializes in educating students with autism, ADHD, and other learning differences. The Cyclones athletic program focuses on building confidence, teamwork, and physical fitness through competitive play.

Debbi Scarborough

From 2007 to present, Debbi Scarborough has been the Headmaster and served on the Board of Directors for this non-profit, special needs school that focuses on children with ASD, ADD, and ADHD. Debbi and her husband Matthew founded Cumberland Academy of Georgia after a frustrating battle of searching for the right school for their son Steven who has ASD. She has built the academy from one student to now over 100, and continues to run the day to day operations.
