Cumberland camps have a weekly theme and different field trips to engaging places around Atlanta. Campers are challenged academically, socially and physically each day. Campers receive a variety of new experiences such as community service, gaming & team building or outdoor recreation games. At the end of each week, parents will receive an individual learning profile report based on the teacher’s evaluation of the student’s academics.
Each summer camper will work on 45 minutes of Math and Language Arts a day. Campers will work on FUN math review and games and will focus on any “holes” in his/her math skill set. Similarly, campers will work on Grammar, Reading Comprehension and Vocabulary building activities according to the student’s grade level. In addition to academics, campers expand their knowledge with a daily small group debate and interactive social networking skills.
