Support Cumberland Inclusive Soccer Program at Cumberland Academy of Georgia
The co-ed soccer team at Cumberland Academy of Georgia brings together students of all abilities to enjoy the dynamic and inclusive sport of soccer. Coaches focus on teaching the fundamentals of the game, such as dribbling, passing, and teamwork, ensuring that each player can contribute to the team regardless of experience level. The program promotes physical fitness, coordination, and strategic thinking, all while fostering a sense of unity among the diverse group of participants. Through practices and matches, students build confidence, develop friendships, and learn the value of sportsmanship and perseverance. The co-ed nature of the team encourages collaboration and respect, creating a supportive environment where everyone can thrive on the field.
Cumberland Academy of Georgia has been a God Send to my child and our family. He struggled in the public system for many years with teachers and administrators who did not understand nor care to try and understand his special needs. The staff at Cumberland have gone out of their way to accomodate his needs and make him feel like a valuable human being. I have seen a marked improvement in his self esteem, social skills and academic performance. My only regret is that I wish I had discovered and enrolled my son in this school sooner.
