SB10 – Georgia Special Needs Scholarship
Cumberland Academy of Georgia is an SB10 – Georgia Special Needs Scholarship (GSNS) approved school. Students who have an IEP or a 504 from their public school can receive scholarship funding from the GSNS Program to be used at Cumberland towards tuition. The Georgia Department of Revenue administers the program. For eligibility requirements and more information on the GSNS Program, please visit the GaDOE GSNS website. Georgia GOAL Scholarship
Cumberland Academy of Georgia has partnered with the Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program to provide scholarships to students in financial need. To qualify for the scholarship, a student must be a Georgia resident who is currently enrolled in and has attended a Georgia public school for at least 6 weeks immediately prior to receiving a scholarship under this program. The Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program does not accept applications directly from parents or guardians. Parents apply directly through Cumberland. 529 Plan
529 PlanFamilies can utilize money saved in their 529 plan for tuition and expenses at any approved K-12 private school. Up to $10,000 per year, per student can be used towards tuition and expenses at Cumberland. The teachers are effective, empathetic and set high standards for their students.A big plus at the school is the large counseling staff available to help students and their families. At Cumberland they educate the whole child. We love the school and are impressed with how the administration, teachers and staff members continually work to improve the school. We moved from Birmingham, Alabama, so our daughter could attend. We also lived in Washington, DC for many years, and Cumberland Academy of Georgia is the best school for special needs that our daughter has attended.
