Cumberland Academy of Georgia Announces New Member of Board of Directors

Atlanta special-needs school, Cumberland Academy of Georgia, is pleased to announce that Jeff Genthner will be serving as the newest member of its board of directors. Genthner is a senior vice president for Fox Sports South and FOX Sports Southeast and is responsible for all FOX Sports regional networks across the southeast. 

Cumberland Academy of Georgia, an Atlanta special-needs school, announced today that Jeff Genthner has been selected as the newest member of its board of directors. Genthner is the senior vice president and general manager of Atlanta-based FOX Sports South, FOX Sports Carolinas, FOX Sports Tennessee, and Sport South. (more…)

Cumberland Academy of Georgia Principal Don Sasso Announces Retirement; Doug Long to Serve as New Principal

Atlanta special-needs school, Cumberland Academy of Georgia, has selected Doug Long as its new principal. He will replace Don Sasso, who has been the school’s principal for the past six years and is retiring at the end of the current school year.

After 45 years in education, Cumberland Academy of Georgia principal Don Sasso has announced his decision to retire at the end of the current school year. Sasso has served as principal of the Atlanta special-needs school for the past six years. The school has chosen Doug Long as Sasso’s successor.

Cumberland Academy of Georgia Announces “Hats Off” Spring Fundraising Gala

Atlanta special-needs school, Cumberland Academy of Georgia, will be hosting its annual themed fundraising gala March 18, 2017, to raise funds for academic opportunities. This year’s theme will be “Hats Off to 10 Years” in recognition of the school’s 10-year anniversary.
