Cumberland Academy of Georgia Enters Into Partnership with Two Chick-fil-A Stores
Atlanta-based Cumberland Academy of Georgia has established a partnership between itself and two Chick-fil-A stores in the Perimeter Mall area. This partnership will allow students to learn culinary skills from the director of training, Jeff Chong.
Cumberland Academy of Georgia Students Learning Continues during Summer Break
Students from Atlanta special-needs school, Cumberland Academy of Georgia, continue to learn this summer break by taking a trip to the University of Georgia’s Marine Education Center and Aquarium on Skidaway Island, working at Homewood Suites and Chick-fil-A, as well as volunteering at a local YMCA.
Cumberland Academy of Georgia Students Enjoy Overnight Trips
Atlanta special-needs school, Cumberland Academy of Georgia, sponsored overnight trips for all students, teachers and counselors on May 2 to 4. The entire student body participated, with 4th and 5th graders traveling to a local camp in Covington, Georgia; middle schoolers going to Chattanooga; and high schoolers visiting Nashville.
Cumberland Academy of Georgia Grateful for Support After “Eventful Couple of Days” in Early April
When Cumberland Academy of Georgia administrators discovered the catalytic converters had been stolen on two of their transport vans, Atlanta-based auto dealership Steve Rayman Chevrolet quickly stepped in and donated several thousand dollars worth of parts and labor to make the repairs. During the same 48-hour period, Cumberland welcomed in two new teachers, one counselor and 10 students who were suddenly without a school.

Cumberland Academy of Georgia to Host “Let’s ShamROCK” Spring Fundraising Gala
Atlanta special needs school Cumberland Academy of Georgia hosts a spring fundraising gala every year to raise funds for the school. This year’s gala will take place on March 17, 2018, and have a Saint Patrick’s Day-theme.
